Before You Visit
Do I need to book a tee time?
No — Alnesbourne Priory is a pay and play golf course near Ipswich. Simply turn up from 8:30am and pay at the clubhouse. No advance booking is ever required.
How much does a round cost?
Adults: £18 weekday, £24 weekend and bank holidays. Juniors (under 16): £13 weekday, £19 weekends. Please note, we only offer an 18 hole rate.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual is perfectly fine. Tailored shorts are acceptable. We ask that players dress appropriately for golf.
What are your opening hours?
Open daily from 8:30am. Last tee time is 5:30pm — arrive before then and you’re welcome to play until dark.
Is there parking?
Yes — free on-site parking is available for all visitors directly adjacent to the clubhouse.
Is food available?
Yes. Bar and refreshments throughout opening hours. Hot food 12–2pm most days, breakfast baps Thu–Sun from 9am.
